  1. 2h30 on booking.
  2. Appointment in the apiary of the Val-de-Seine 78 situated near the soccer field.
    Count 15 minutes on foot of the reception of the Base de Loisirs up to the apiary.
 

Highlights

Opening of a hive, to caress animals and tasting of honey.
 

Goal
  1. Differentiate the inhabitants of the hive, the presentation of their role (Queen, male, labor)
  2. Discovery of the products of the hive (pollen, nectar and honey)
  3. Presentation of the equipment of the beekeeper
  4. Discovery of the work of the beekeeper
  5. Opening of a hive
  6. Observation of the glazed hive
  7. Tasting of honey
 

Clothes to wear

We shall provide you with hat veils to cover the head. Arm itself with gloves (even plastic) and of a cap. Wear long-sleeved clothes of color clearly cotton or synthetic.
Credit note of the ankle boots or high enough socks to be able to bring in the pants inside.
Do not wear a black or red, nor woolen clothes. Do not put a perfume, toilet or after-shave.
Plan a soft drink.
 

Rules

A presenter for 6 children will be necessary to supervise the activity and assure the safety of the group.
The proposed activity does not present particular danger, however, the participants are warned of the risks of allergies which can start in case of bee sting and in the contact of the pollen, the gluten and the honey. It is thus recommended to wear adapted clothes and to take its measures for its safety. We have on the spot an aspi poison.
The Base de Loisirs de Val de Seine 78 can be on no account held for responsible, neither in a civil manner, nor penally, for an incident or for an accident which would arise during the practice of the activity.
